William Beattie Obituary, Death – William Beattie Of Vineland New Jersey Has Passed Away On November 28, 2022, William W. Beattie, 47, of Landisville, passed away suddenly. As a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, he was also. “Billy” was created on April 22, 1975, in Vineland, New Jersey. He was a Landisville native and a 1993 Buena Regional High School alumnus. Billy worked briefly at Fibertech Nonwovens in Landisville prior to joining the police force. He worked as a patrol officer for the Borough of Buena and Egg Harbor City Police Departments.
He also worked for the Atlantic City Police Department’s motorcycle unit, rising to the rank of Corporal, until retiring in 2009. Since retirement, Billy has enjoyed a range of activities, such as clamming, fishing, hunting, and watching UFC fights. In his 1966 Chevy Nova, Billy participated in drag racing competitions at Atco and Cecil County, Maryland. He belongs to a couple of local hunting clubs as well as the Defenders Motorcycle Club. Billy previously belonged to the Diamond Social Club, the Landisville Volunteer Fire Company, the American Legion Post 270, the Landisville Social Club, and the Forest Grove Volunteer Fire Company.
William R. and Susanne (Ziech) Beattie of Landisville, his loving parents, his sister Stephanie Mastro (Mark) of Vineland, his nephews Andrew and Justin Mastro, a number of aunts and uncles, as well as a number of close friends who cared for him like a brother, are all still living. William C. and Dolores Beattie, his maternal grandparents, and Walter and Josephine (Speziali) Ziech, his paternal grandparents, both passed away before him.
