Xavier Lofton Obituary, Death – On Friday night, there was a shooting in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago, and it was followed by a car accident in the same area. Both incidents took place in the same general vicinity. Two people were fatally injured as a direct result of the incident, and both of their deaths were confirmed. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office made the announcement early on Sunday morning that Xavier Lofton, a resident of Bellwood who was 29 years old, was one of the people who had been killed in the incident.

A man in his thirties and a woman in her twenties, both of whom are currently in critical condition as a result of the incident, both died as a result of the incident. The information that was provided by the Chicago Police Department indicates that at approximately 11:17 p.m., someone inside a beige SUV began firing on a car that was traveling southbound on Cicero Avenue. Lofton sustained multiple blows to the head before being transported to Mount Sinai hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later, as stated in the report that was filed by the police. Another passenger inside the vehicle, a young woman in her twenties, was struck by gunfire and was in critical condition when she was taken to Stroger Hospital after the incident. The occurrence of the crime took place while the suspect was behind the wheel of the vehicle.

According to the statements made by the police, a man in his thirties was caught in the crossfire and received a gunshot wound to the back. This information was obtained from reports that have been made public. He was involved in a collision with multiple other vehicles just a short distance away from the scene where the shooting had begun.

According to the findings of the investigation that was carried out by the police, he was also transported to Mount Sinai, which is where he ultimately passed away. The Chicago Police Department has stated that there is no one being held in custody at this time; however, investigations are still ongoing and will continue until they are completed.
